Quick, let’s just change everything

The two basil plants and the rosemary plant that I bought on Memorial weekend are all still alive. This is much, much better than last year when my basil plants died within two weeks of my buying them. I wasn’t very good about watering them, it’s true, but I think it was mostly that they didn’t have a lot of will to live. If they’d been true fighters then they’d have made it. Anyway, these current plants have more moxie and appear to be thriving.

Writing notes: I’ve gone down the wormhole of making major changes to my NaNoWriMo manuscript and it is going to be a while before I’m sure if I’ve made it better or if I should just go back to my old draft. Hopefully it’s going in the right direction but it is all getting a bit messy.

Reading notes: Read The Summer Prince. Overall, it was pretty brilliant. Hugely imaginative and very different than anything else I’ve read, particularly in the YA realm. Now I’ve started The Silent Wife and I think it is going to be a very fun, twisty read.
