Already a day late

I had delusions that I would apply for a writing residency. Then I noticed that a resume was required. To be clear, I have a very nice resume. All professional and up to date and everything. But it is for library positions. Because that’s what I’ve done. I’ve been a librarian. I’ve written one book chapter on library things, and done lots of presentations and posters on library things. Taught classes. All that. In terms of the creative written word though, I’ve got nothing.

So, I don’t know. Maybe I can piece something together. Maybe not. Maybe it’s just too early to try and compete with people who actually know what they are doing and have honest to god credentials and output.

Writing notes:

Outlined my Nanowrimo monstrosity. It’s okay but I think it may need a subplot. That’s as far as I’ve gotten though–no ideas about what the subplot should actually be.
Continued rewriting first two paragraphs of item to be workshopped. Agony. Pure agony. Words are hard.

Reading notes:

Started Broken Harbour. So far, super good.
